Lamar Valley and Northern Yellowstone Park Tours
See the Wolves and Bears!
The most northern section of Yellowstone Park (Mammoth Hot Springs to Silver Gate) has the largest concentration of bears and wolves in all of Yellowstone. This rugged, remote area of the park features windy roads on high mountain passes, scenic waterfalls and vista's, rushing rivers and soaring bridges, and large, high mountain valleys tucked between majestic mountain ranges. Lamar Valley, often called the "Little Serengeti of North America," abounds with elk, antelope, deer, mountain sheep and goats, and bison. With these ungulates come the predators - coyotes, foxes, grizzly bears, and four wolf packs that call this area their home.

If you are new to Yellowstone, or just a local who wants to spend a day with an expert, we have a special tour just for you. Designed for the ultimate wildlife watching experience, these tours are given by naturalists who spend almost every day in northern Yellowstone. Call or email us for more information about these tours! (If you are looking for a northern 'base' for your Yellowstone trip, we can also help you with lodging in Gardiner, Montana.)
